I started collecting because vintage has always felt like home to me. My parents were young and had four kids before the age of 30, so we didn’t have a lot of money for home decor growing up. Most of what we had were hand-me-downs from my grandparents—furniture, dishes, and decor—and many of those pieces were vintage or antique. My mom always told me that older items were made better, had more character, and were just nicer than anything you could buy new. That stuck with me.

These objects aren’t just “stuff” either—they’re tied to core memories of the past that bring me joy. Collecting has become a way to reconnect with those times ("the good old days") and surround myself with pieces that feel like me.

My favorite piece I’ve ever found is a 1964 Zenith stereo and record player I discovered at Goodwill. My dad passed away eight years ago and left me some of his records, so it makes me really happy to have something I can play them on now.

My space is colorful, nostalgic, and full of personality—just like the pieces I source. I specialize in vintage home decor with a strong midcentury influence, especially items that spark joy or remind me of my own childhood. I focus on small home accents, artwork, and mirrors, and I also love picking up vintage handbags and gold jewelry when I find something special. I’m drawn to pieces that are well-made, full of character, and feel like they have a story to tell.

Being a vendor gives me the chance to share these treasures with others and help people bring a little beauty, joy, nostalgia, and history into their homes. I love being part of a community that values the magic of old things and the joy of giving them new life. It’s also incredibly rewarding to help someone find a piece that reflects who they are—or connects them to a meaningful memory.

LAM brings together a diverse group of vendors who truly care about what they curate. It’s a place where you can discover everything and anything—and chat with people who love vintage as much as you do. You won’t find that kind of heart, creativity, or connection in a big-box store. Plus, shopping vintage is sustainable, unique, and so much more fun.
